Methods of polycarbonate production allow to create polycarbonate panels with very thin walls and low weight without loss of shockproof characteristics. Sheet cellular polycarbonate contains air, which is located in the voids between layers of a polycarbonate sheet. That air provides high thermal-insulating characters of the production, and stiffening ribs - great structural strength relative to weight.

Cellular polycarbonate is widely used in construction as a material for roofing and vertical glazing, starting from residential buildings ending with sports facilities (stadiums, swimming pools, tennis courts), as well as for agricultural purposes (greenhouses). High decorative qualities allow to use this material in outdoor advertising and decorations of shop windows and walls.

Power

Cellular polycarbonate (or in other words, structural sheets from polycarbonate) is made on two extrusion lines of the company «OMIPA» (Italy).

Monthly productivity of the first-line «OMIPA» is more than 200 tons of final product and monthly productivity of the second-line «OMIPA» is more than 300 tons of final product.

The profile is produced by the extrusion line of the company «IDE» (Germany). Today, the monthly productivity of the line is more than 18 tons of final product.

The granulation line processes technological wastes of polycarbonate. It is produced by «OMC» (Italy). Monthly productivity of the line is more than 120 tons of final product.

The plant «Polyalt» uses granular concentrates of dyes from the company «CLARIANT» (Switzerland), «AMPACET» (Belgium), «TOSAF» (Israel).

In 2006 it began to use liquid dyes of the Italian company «REPI».

Raw materials

High quality raw materials by German company «Bayer» are used to produce cellular polycarbonate Sellex. Lately, «Bayer» has been one of the best among the suppliers of raw materials for plastics. Company engineers are also responsible for the technical support of work processes.

UV protection

To ensure the quality of panels Sellex they apply UV protection that guarantees a period of ten years of their operation. The plant «Polyalt» uses high quality UV coating (UV batch) produced by «Bayer», which protects the production from aging under the influence of the sunlight.

Protective film

To protect the surface of a cellular polycarbonate sheet from mechanical damage and contamination, we use the film POLI-FILM GMDH manufacturer (Germany). Thickness is 40 microns, which fully provides protection and a lack of breaks when you remove the film from the sheets. Nordenia and Prodis (German manufacturers) are used as protective films in our plant.
