Production

Methods of production of polycarbonate allow to create polycarbonate panels with very thin walls and low weight without loss of shockproof characteristics. Cellular sheet polycarbonate contains air, which is located in the voids between layers of a polycarbonate sheet. This air provides high thermal insulation of the production, and stiffening ribs - great structural strength relative to weight.

Polycarbonate are widely used in construction as a material for roofing and vertical glazing, ranging from residential buildings to sports facilities (stadiums, swimming pools, tennis courts), as well as for facilities for agricultural purposes (greenhouses). High decorative qualities allow to use this material in the outdoor advertising and decorations of shop windows and walls.

A cellular polycarbonate sheet is a 2.1 m panel wide and 12.0 m in length, which gives the designer great opportunities for realization of the most complex engineering fantasies. Cellular polycarbonate is intended for the construction of transparent structures. Cellular polycarbonate panels «Sellex» are able to withstand sizeable snow and wind loads. In addition, the material is chemically resistant and ecologically pure. It remains its characteristics at temperatures ranging from-40C to +120 C. Cellular polycarbonate «Sellex» is supplied in a protective film. In connection with it, panels are not easily damaged during transportation and mounting.
